Voluntary Group Insurance Benefits
Help protect employees by offering these voluntary insurance benefits that provide supplemental coverage for accidents and hospital stays, as well as travel insurance for employees and their families.
Voluntary Group Insurance Coverage
A well-rounded employee benefits program goes beyond major medical and retirement planning. It includes voluntary programs that allow employees to customize their benefits to meet their own needs.
Arch Insurance offers voluntary group insurance benefits that may enhance your current benefits program, including Accident Medical Expense (AME) Reimbursement, Hospital Cash Indemnity, and Annual Travel Insurance. As a bonus, the medical coverages require no medical underwriting for the policy to be issued.
Accident Medical Expense Reimbursement
This AME plan may cover the true cost of incurred accident medical expenses, rather than paying a fixed amount based on a schedule of benefits. This coverage may be a great addition to an employer’s major medical plan to provide supplemental insurance to fill gaps caused by co-pays, deductibles, or other coverage restrictions. Learn more.
Hospital Cash Indemnity Insurance
Hospital Cash Indemnity pays directly to the insured when they are hospitalized due to an accident or sickness. The benefit amount is paid as a daily benefit for each day of hospitalization, and an additional daily benefit amount is available if the insured is hospitalized in an ICU (up to plan limits). Learn more.
Annual, Multi-Trip Travel Insurance
This plan provides travel insurance for multiple trips per year. Benefits include coverage for trip cancellation, emergency medical evacuation, accident medical costs, and even death. Accident Medical Expense Reimbursement
Accident medical expense reimbursement insurance is designed to help relieve financial strain of medical expenses not covered by major medical that may arise from accidents, including emergency room visits, hospital stays, surgeries, doctor’s appointments, ambulance services, and other related medical treatments. This plan also includes options for Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage.
How is Arch Insurance’s AME Reimbursement policy different from “Fixed Scheduled Accident Indemnity” plans that are often advertised by other carriers?
Many of the other “Accident Insurance Plans” advertised in the market are actually a product called “Fixed Scheduled Accident Indemnity Insurance.” Instead of reimbursing an insured for actual expenses incurred, they pay a predetermined flat amount based on a specific injury category or service provided, which may or may not necessarily match the actual amount of medical expenses incurred for that injury.
With an Accident Medical Expense Reimbursement plan offered by Arch Insurance, you may rest easy knowing that your clients’ employees may be reimbursed for the actual out-of-pocket medical expenses incurred due to an accidental injury when the n the typical “Fixed Scheduled Accident Indemnity Plan” offered by other carriers.
