Paul Carroll is the editor-in-chief of Insurance Thought Leadership. He is also co-author of “Billion Dollar Lessons: What You Can Learn From the Most Inexcusable Business Failures of the Last 25 Years” and the author of a best-seller on IBM, published in 1993. Carroll spent 17 years at the Wall Street Journal as an editor and reporter; he was nominated twice for the Pulitzer Prize. He later was a finalist for a National Magazine Award.

Jim Villa, Senior Vice President, Accident & Health, Arch Insurance

Jim Villa serves as SVP, Strategy & Distribution A&H, a position he’s held since April 2021. Previously,he was SVP, Head of A&H at The Hartford and Global Head and COO, Worldwide Life, A&H at Chubb Insurance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

Rebecca Raisley, Vice President, Accident & Health, Arch Insurance
Rebecca Raisley is Vice President of Distribution for Arch Accident & Health (A&H). Rebecca has been with Arch since December of 2022, and has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Rebecca is a certified continuing education instructor and has a broad depth of experience with both P&C and A&H insurance products. She has held various positions with insurance carriers including roles in marketing, sales and business development, and operations.
